If the media stories to aglao, a good many different compositions suitable one for each fan at a certain location and certain types of aglao. But the general principle aglaonema media need a porous media (not solid) can still hold moisture.
Materials commonly used media which are:


- Chopped dark fern roots (to loosen the mixture)
- Cocopeat, cocohusk chunk, coir (to retain moisture)
- Husk fuel, raw husk (filler)
- Compost / humus, manure, fertilizer slowrelease (additional)

Aglaonema media composition can be adjusted by:

- Local weather
If the local weather is often rainy .. A more flexible use media / add and subtract fern root / remove content cocopeat, otherwise if rarely rains .. cocopeat to add more content to hold moisture or water.

- Type aglaonema
If a plant derivative aglaonema cochincinensis which usually has its roots thick and besar2, use media that is more lax and less content cocopeat.
